Grotton Hotel Update
An application to licensing has been made for off licence purposes. There are rumours about the development of a Co-Op. Many residents are concerned and a number raised these at the residents association. We will be working with local residents and the association to produce some literature and posters over the next couple of days
If you are not happy with a Co-Op in Grotton
Like Springhead quarry it is best that individual objections are put in so that each one is counted. They carry more weight than a petition. At this stage objections should be to licensing and opposing an off licence. You can only object to planning if and when an application is made.

Making your views know to Co-op may also be a good idea

Whilst I don’t think the Co-OP is a good idea I do think we need to get the Grotton Hotel back into use in some way.
