Here is the latest update in relation to Grandpa Greens

Council has served a legal notice to restrict the openings days of the business known as Grandpa Greenes Luxury Ice Cream Ltd 5 Ward lane, Diggle, Oldham OL3 5JT  under the Coronavirus Regulations.

This Direction requires the business to close on Saturday and Sunday due to attracting more people than the business can safely accommodate. The business operating from the premises has failed to implement appropriate social distancing controls and failed to manage large gatherings of customers queuing at their premises.

The business will be prevented from opening on Saturday and Sunday until it expires on the 5th March 2021. The direction will be reviewed every 7 days as laid down in legislation and the business owner has the right to appeal against the direction.

A meeting will take place next week in relation to the parking issues
