The parish council is running a ‘Shop Local’ campaign to boost the local economy and to support the Saddleworth businesses which have kept working, taken precautions and done extra deliveries to keep us all safe over the past year.
“They looked after Saddleworth; they deserve our wholehearted support”, urges Councillor Kevin Dawson.
A tiny rise of just 75 pence a year – one and a half pence a week – for the average household will safeguard parish services for the coming year.
“That’s no thanks to the Conservatives. Not one of them turned up to the Finance Committee, which does the spadework for the budget” said Councillor Linda Dawson.Leave a comment
