It is disappointing that the bridge by the garden centre is now looking in even more disrepair. It is a frustrating situation but this damage hopefully should not change the situation as the battle over who will pay continues. The community continues with the excellent work  to press this issue and  there have been no objections for this to be designated a public right of way. This is a big step forward. As part of a public right of way  the owner or occupier of land with a public right of way across it, must keep the route visible and not obstruct or endanger users.  It is looking likely that this will be decided by the planning inspectorate and will be instructed to sort the bridge out.
